Our Veterinarians
Tim Hughes, DVM
Dr. Tim Hughes has many years of experience caring for pets and their pet parents. He graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. He practiced at veterinary clinics in Northern Virginia for a few years before moving to the Boca Raton area in 1998. He spent his time continually expanding his knowledge and skills, building a large client base at the Boca Raton Banfield Pet Hospital. He also worked as a Regional Medical Director, growing his responsibilities to eventually oversee 144 hospitals in the Southeastern United States. He mentored and coached many doctors during that time to have successful careers as veterinarians.
He brings his vast knowledge and experience to help pets in his community. Dr. Hughes is known for his excellent communication skills and caring touch with pets. Tim has two rescue dogs named Beauregard and Remington. He looks forward to meeting you and helping your pets live long and happy lives.
Philippe Roof, DVM
Dr. Philippe Roof is originally from Montreal, Canada, where he first obtained his Bachelor of Science from the renowned McGill University, and later earned his veterinary degree from the University of Montreal. After graduating in 2006, he moved to South Florida, where he has been working diligently to build relationships with thousands of pets and their families, helping them improve their health and quality of life. During the past 10 years, Dr. Roof has also actively worked at improving his surgical and medical skills, as well as coaching many new doctors in the art of veterinary medicine.
Dr. Roof brings his vast knowledge and experience to help pets in the community. He is known for his friendly and family-style approach to both pets and their owners. He looks forward to meeting you and helping your pets live long and happy lives.
Annie Latraverse, DVM
Dr. Annie Latraverse is a graduate of the University of Montreal, a fluent French speaker, and she brings over 18 years of experience with her. We are ecstatic to have her as a part of our team. Dr. Latraverse is known to be an outstanding communicator and cares deeply about her patients and their families. She prioritizes client education while serving you and your pet.
Sohela Dhillon, DVM
Dr. Sohela Dhillon earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University. Dr. Dhillon has four years of veterinary medicine experience and has pursued additional training in low-stress handling techniques through Fear Free certification.
From gentle care to calming environmental adjustments, her goal is to make every appointment a positive experience for both pets and their people. Driven by a lifelong passion for animals and a deep-rooted interest in biology and medicine, Dr. Dhillon is committed to providing thoughtful care for dogs and cats.
When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll find her at the barn riding her horse, crafting, gaming, or relaxing at home with her cat and loved ones.

Lauren A., Hospital Manager
Lauren is our Hospital Manager and a native South Floridian. She believes that exceptional veterinary care begins with empathy and is passionate about cultivating meaningful connections. Lauren is dedicated to creating a positive and supportive environment where clients feel heard, pets feel safe, and our team feels like family — fostering compassion, laughter, and connection to veterinary care every day.

Dr. Hughes is known for his excellent communication skills and caring touch with pets. Tim has two Shih Tzu’s named Buster and Bentley. He looks forward to meeting you and helping your pets live long and happy lives.
